printable shoe size chart

shopping in the local stores here
if you don’t know your child’s shoe size
– after feeling around for their big toe,
asking them to walk from one place to another,
and if they are even old enough to answer
asking them questions to which you doubt their answer anyway
(is it too tight, sweetie? is this your big toe?) –
you pretty much have to guess
what size they wear.

where are the metal shoe sizers i would see
laying around in the local US payless shoe store?
i could never find anyone to help me
but at least i’d know what size to get.

well, over here there are plenty of people welcoming me
but i don’t know what size my kid’s foot is.

they’ve got shoe size chart for kids, men and women.
why didn’t i think of this before?
