mozell is on the move again

yet another quilt show.
i’m not tired of them or anything.
but my grandma is over 70
traveling here and there for folks who are crazy about quilts.

i think i take them for granted
because i grew up
sleeping in them
on the floor
with my cousins
like little puppies
sleeping close to their mother to keep warm.

this show is even more special
because my mom is included in the event as a quilter, too.
she’s “sylvia benson” although
her real name is sylvia g. stephens.

go ‘head, y’all!
