mommy moment: 15 nov 07

usually before or after making
fajr salat
(now, around 5 AM)
i take the girls to the bathroom.
this morning i decided to take rahmah to the bathroom first.

when i returned to the bedroom
to put rahmah back in the bed
i saw sanaa already out of her bed
crouching on the floor.

before i could say a word
she stood up and broke into jumping jacks.

it’s things like this
that signal that
it’s gonna be one of those days.
