[…] some background first: qasid organized a trip to the dead sea. some folks went to the beach, most went hiking in the gorges. i wish i could’ve gone. hiking, that is. in fact, ishaq and i both wished we could’ve gone hiking, but alas, we are parents of young children so we went to the beach. we’d been to the dead sea before although we’d gone more of a local spot as opposed to a tourist spot. this spot was called amman beach. we had to pay 5JD to get in, then they charged 1JD for a beach chair and a table. the beach was nice. it actually looked like a typical beach, with palm trees and sand, instead of rocks like in the other spot we went to. the weather was just on the warm side of hot, but not too hot. but the wind… […]
