baby majeed #3 sonogram pictures

grandparents, aunties, uncles, and friends:

here are the first images of baby majeed #3,
coming soon in early march 2007, inshAllah.

we had a sonogram on the 19th of this month (oct)
when i was about 19 weeks.
while rahmah just likes to poke my very sensitive
and significantly widened belly button,
sanaa knows that there’s a baby inside my belly
and on that day she got to see it in action, live in black and white.

s/he was very active during the sonogram;
responding, i guess, to all the pressure and the egg and cheese sandwich i’d had just prior.

baby majeed #3 checks out pretty well, alHamdullilah:
10 fingers, 10 toes,
– five on each appendage (smile) –
heart with 4 chambers,
the works!

s/he even waived at her:

“hi, big sister!”

we did not want to know the sex,
although secretly i was looking for a hint.

we’re praying for a healthy child, of course,
but i’d like to close this deal with a boy.
3 is sunna, right? (smile)
we shall see, inshAllah.

after my sonogram,
the sonographer — very nice lady –
did a sonogram on the “yogurt, egg & cheese sandwich, and vitamins”
– according to sanaa –
in sanaa’s stomach.
how cool is that?
no pictures, though.
