how to cornrow?

i need to practice and/or
learn some techniques
cause i can’t keep beggin and paying folks
to do my own child’s hair.

i can twist, flat twist, and braid and
i can KINDA cornrow,
but it’s not pretty.
there are gaps sometimes.
i must doing something wrong.

can someone recommend
a good descriptive book,
a website,
volunteer some time and expertise,
something?!

and while i’m on hair,
i was looking at my daughter the other day
and was thankful
that the trend of geling down the strands of your hair
near your temples
– baby hair –
is out of style.
