childkind’s kidfest - 06.17.06

childkind is an organization that helps place disabled orphans with foster parents.

it was cool and it was free for children,
and only $5 for adults.

and sanaa loved the face painting and moon bounces.

we saw the atlanta hawk’s back flippin’ hawk man.

plus, i saw one of the weirdest, coolest clowns ever.
she rolled up in a
– read this carefully now –
rainbow spray-painted, convertible PT cruiser
with hydraulics,
a BOOMIN system
(speakers almost filled up the back seat),
lamborghini doors,
pop-out rear lights,
AND a bunny in a cage in the passenger seat!
i had to take a picture.

when i asked her if i could take a pic
she said with a lisp:
“of coursh you can!”
and i meant to write coursh cause that’s exactly how she sounded.
then she said:
“let me do a little shumptin shumptin,”
and she struck a bee-boy pose.
i was rollin!

it turns out that the
the clown who did the face painting,
tater the clown
(THE BEST face painter i’ve seen),
was this crazy clown’s partner.
doodle the clown ain’t no joke.
