schaschlik knife holder

so cool.

readymade did a DIY version.
ingredients: clear 2-liter plastic bottle, 350 12″ bamboo skewers, and 2 cups of salt, sugar or sand
tools: utility knife, and ruler
directions:
1. remove the bottle’s label and cut off the top of the bottle so that it measures 10.5″ tall.
2. fill the bottle’s bottom with about 2 cups of salt, sugar, or sand.
3. pack the bamboo skewers sharp ends down until the bottle is full and tight.
4. gently stab your knives into the bamboo.

i might actually do this one!
except i may exchange the bottle for something made of glass
from my favorite store: goodwill.
