i wanna be a doer.
one of those people who make things happen.

like alia.
man, she is really awesome.
she’s one of those people who can motivate others
to collective action.
she can get folks together
to put on a beautiful, coordinated, elegant fashion show.

what does it take?
courage?
steadfastness?
endurance?

i’m a doer.
sort of.
i just do things on my own.
i’m the type of person who’s like:
“if it needs to be done, i might as well be the one to do it.”
but to get things done
– things that are beneficial
beyond the self –
collective action is necessary.

so, i guess i need to learn how to cooperate.
